So happy! I won First Place in the Flowers Show with my mantel arrangement! The judges comments were “magnificent in every aspect.” I was so surprised to win First Place as there were so many beautiful entries!
Well today’s the day. I will be assembling the mantel arrangement for the Sonnenberg Flower Show. I will take it late this afternoon to set it up in the mansion. Hopefully it will turn out like the picture I have in my head.
Today I arranged the flowers for Sonnenburg Flower Show buffet table. I mainly used the same flowers I purchased for the mantel. I chose a fallish container I already had to give height. The traditional arrangement was a breeze to put together. I was really happy with the way it turned out.
Today I am meeting with our local florist to choose my flowers.
Today I visited Sonnenberg to take pictures of the mantel and get a feel of the room. They call it the “Great Hall” for a reason. It is two stories high, the fireplace dominates the room for sure.
